This project’s objective was to develop a new brand identity for the Toronto Railway Museum. Located at Roundhouse Park in Downtown Toronto, this museum features artifacts that tell the story of Toronto’s railway history. Guided tours, miniature train rides, and a train simulator provide visitors with a unique immersive experience.
The logo uses an art deco-inspired typeface and a symbol, created from the typeface’s “o,” that resembles the front of a locomotive. Promotional materials, containing up to two colours, feature historic trains. Together, the brand identity, images, and colours invoke a feeling of stepping into the past.
